Does AgentMeter see my code or my clients' code?
No. The report is generated on your machine. The server only gets the report fingerprint to timestamp it. If you publish the portal, you upload the report (not the code) so your client can see it.
Why timestamp it if the report is already signed?
The signature proves the report came from your key and that nobody touched it. But you could sign a report today and date it last month. The timestamp prevents that: the AgentMeter server writes the report fingerprint into a chained public log, with the server time and its own signature. So your client knows the report existed on that day and was not redone later. The content never travels, only the fingerprint.
What if someone changes a number in the report?
The fingerprint no longer matches, the signature fails and the seal changes. Anyone can spot it by checking it here or with agentmeter verify.
Can I invoice in my own currency?
Yes. You pick the currency, your rate and the exchange rate used to convert the AI cost, which is measured in US dollars at public prices.
Which agents does it support?
Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Copilot CLI, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, Cline, Roo Code, Kilo Code and Qwen Code, including Z.ai GLM models. Any other agent can use an open log format. Even without agents, a report with commits and tests is still useful.
Can I send reports in English and Spanish?
Yes. Each client can have their own language, and you can switch any report with --lang en or --lang es. The client portal follows the language of the report.
Does AgentMeter take a cut of my payments?
No. Your client pays you directly through your link, account or QR. AgentMeter only records the payment notice and your confirmation, with date and signature.
What if I lose my computer?
If you backed up your key with agentmeter key backup, you restore it on another machine with agentmeter key import and keep signing with the same identity.
